Jeniffer is already looking ahead: "From my capstone, I hope to continue to support ongoing assessment implementation. Personally, I also hope to continue to reflect on ways to grow both as an individual and as a leader."

Last week, The Network was proud to host the Stop Now and Plan (SNAP) Youth Justice Training at Family Resources in St. Petersburg FL. Over the four days,14 participants from 9 SNAP sites came together to become facilitators of the SNAP 4YYJ and/or Dually Served programs.Our training was even more elevated by having Sarah Woods and Brianne Alexander with the @child.development.institute join us all the way from Canada, their expertise and conversations provided the trainers with more ability to engage and equip future participants! ✈️ Investing in our providers means investing in the youth and families they serve. We look forward to the impact these participants will have on the youth that are served through the program! #TheNetworkWorks

He rallied nine friends — a barber, a nurse, a chef and more — to transform Florida Network Member Organization, @helpflkids Safe Harbor Shelter into a full career and wellness day for youth across the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach. The day ended with a youth-made Italian feast. That's what going above and beyond looks like. We appreciate you, Octavious! 👏

Florida Network's Director of Outreach Paula Moreno joined fellow member organizations at the inaugural Florida Fathers and Faith Symposium this week in Orlando, FL, hosted by the @fladjj .

The symposium centered on a powerful premise: fathers and faith communities are agents of prevention, early intervention and long-term support for youth and families. By building deeper collaboration between state agencies, community organizations and local faith institutions, the goal is a family-centered approach that supports the youth we serve and strengthens the entire system surrounding them. Thank you to the DJJ team for bringing so many key stakeholders from across the state together for this important conversation. #TheNetworkWorks

SNAP is an evidence-based intervention program that improves child behavior. Dually served supports youth who are at risk of becoming further involved in the juvenile justice system.

Our Board of Directors is thrilled to be in Jacksonville this week for our board meeting and tour of the new Anchor Point facility. A new, first-of-its-kind residential facility for at-risk youth in Jacksonville funded by the state of Florida in 2025, the YCC CINS physically secure program (Anchor Point) will provide trauma‑informed,
evidence‑based residential services to youth ages 10–17 who are experiencing significant
concerns such as habitual truancy, habitual running away and ungovernability.

We are so proud of this milestone and grateful to our partners at Anchor Point who make this possible. #TheNetworkWorks

☑️ Motivational Interviewing trainers re-certified, with a new trainer added for expanded statewide reach
☑️ A new Qualified Motivational Interviewing Trainer added to strengthen coverage in the Northeast region
☑️ 166 new SNAP facilitators trained across 11 hosted trainings
☑️ Nearly 50 attendees at the annual SNAP Lead event in Orlando

Shareet Cares is making an impact! Our Director of Membership Services, John Robertson, recently led a visit with the Urban Institute, a national social policy research organization, and FNYFS member Lutheran Services of Florida Southwest, as part of a national impact study examining our Shareet Cares Project.

Funded in 2023, the Shareet Cares Project is designed to explore new strategies for preventing youth homelessness. During the visit, researchers interviewed project leaders, youth advisory board members, case managers and clients to learn more about the program's approach in practice.

We're proud to be a part of this important work making a real difference for Florida's youth.
